Hickam Air Force Base is located in Honolulu, Hawaii on the island of Oahu. It is home to the PACAF’s 15th Airlift Wing which supports air mobility and operations missions in the Global War on Terrorism. Hickam Air Force Base supports the Commander of the U.S. Pacific Command and the Commander of the Pacific Air Forces. Other major units at the base include the 154th Wing and the Pacific Air Force. Upon arriving at Hickam Air Force Base, contact the Hickam Community Housing office for floor plans and available housing units. On-post residences number over 2,500 and offer several two, three and four bedroom homes. If off-post housing is needed, the housing office can identify the allowable basic housing allowance for the area and find suitable homes for rent or homes for sale.
